Oh my I just don’t know what I am doing wrong? I thought I had found my furever home but unfortunately the lovely lady feels my deafness is too much of a handicap. I really like her too I could sense she had a warm heart the minute I smelled her come in the room. I went right to her and let her pick me up.
You know that is the first sense we use, our sense of smell, everything else is secondary. Even though my eye site is going and I don’t hear much at all I also have a big heart and just want to share all the love I have in it. I cannot thank ERU enough for continuing to care for me and trying to find me a loving home.
When I first came to the rescue I was a scared little girl and would not let many people near me, especially if I sensed they were scared too. Now that I have been shown love and that I am safe until a furever home is found I just want someone to love me.
I love to go on walks and as long as I am on a leash you don’t have to worry whether I can hear you or not. I will just look at you for whatever signal you want to give me.
I still am struggling to clear up my ear infections. I am at another ERU foster home. Their fosters are such giving people. Jeff and Rob came picked me up even though they were not sure what to do with a dog that is hard of hearing and cannot see too well.
Jeff says that he saw my ears perk up when he was getting ice dispensed from the refrigerator door and feels my eyesight is pretty good too. I am a bit depressed though and would not eat unless he fed me from his hands.
I am an Eskie mix and probably would say I have a bit more Pomeranian in me than Eskie.
I really would like a calm home, maybe a retired couple is looking for companionship and unconditional love. I can provide that.
Do you have the patience and love to give me my furever home or even a foster home?
