Hi everyone! My name is Legolas or Lego for short!

As you can see, I'm a bit different then my siblings. I was born without any front legs! Don't feel bad for me though. ERU is giving me every opportunity to make it in life! My hero is Faith the Dog If I can't learn to walk upright like her, ERU will get me a cool cart so I can run like a normal dog!

Foster mom is putting me up for sponsorship because I'll need to learn to get around better before I can be adopted out. Also, ERU could certainly use some donations to help pay for a cart!

My momma, Hoppy, came into ERU very pregnant and a couple of weeks later had 4 little bundles of joy! Both mom and dad are American Eskimo/Chihuahua mixes. Dad is 11lbs and mom is about 12lbs so I'll probably be around that size, although there's no guarantee I won't get bigger!

Special Needs: Lego was born without front legs!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
