Hi, my name is Milan and don't let my age give you the wrong idea - I still have a lot of playfulness and energy! Plus, American Eskimo dogs (or eskies, as we like to be called) can live until their mid to upper teens. I'm a sweet boy that loves walks, belly rubs, and playing fetch. I have a beautiful fluffy tail that I like to wag when you pet behind my ears. And I am totally housetrained!
I don't know much about my early years. My current family adopted me from a shelter when I was about 5 years old. I am now about 13. My family has had some young kids join the family recently and they really make me nervous. So they are hoping I can find a great home that will give me a chance to show what I great dog I am! So I'm better off in a home without young kids or other dogs. I get along well with cats though.
I would be a great companion and your new best friend! And I will give you lots of eskie kisses! Won't you consider giving me a chance? I would do all I could to show you how much I love you!
You can go to our web site at: www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application for me! Thank you and WOOF!
Milan!
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
