UPDATE:  Bradley was adopted to an awesome family.  Sadly, Bradley had to be returned because he became depressed.  The family did not have other dogs so that may have contributed to his depression.  He is as happy as can be back here with me but we are willing to try another adoption if the home is in or near Baltimore and there are other dogs in the family.

UPDATE: Bradley had surgery on 1-7-09 and everything went well! He had his staples removed on 1-19-09 and is doing great! He is as sweet and friendly as ever and ready to find his forever home. Bradley thanks all of those that contributed toward his surgery.

UPDATE: Bradley had an appointment with an opthalmologist today (10/30/08). He has glaucoma in both eyes and has started treatment (Travatan). We will need to see how he does with the meds but he may require surgery.

I am staying in Randallstown, MD until my forever family comes along.

Hi everyone. My name is Bradley and my foster mommy says I am as sweet as they come. I came to the shelter as a stray and spent several months waiting for my owners to claim me but they never did. I may have been in an accident because my ear was torn open. My foster mommy can tell that someone took good care of me and did not abuse me because I have such a wonderful disposition, I was neutered, and have very nice teeth! I even let my foster mommy put drops in my eyes twice each day and I don't mind at all!

I love to go on walks and ride in the truck. My favorite thing - well meal time and snacks of course! I get along just fine with all of my fur-brothers. My foster mommy says I am a delight!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
