I am located in Bridgewater, NJ

I am dear beautiful Prudence, I may look big but don’t let that fool you. I am as gentle as they come. My foster mommy says that I am very smart and know quite a few commands. I get along well with my brother and sister (eskie's). When I speak I can impersonate Chewbacca from Star Wars. If I want more pets I will put my paw on your arm and try to drag it over to me. I love to be outside so a fenced in yard would be great for lounging in the sun or playing in the snow. I like to lay on the couch and if I get warm I like to lay in front of a door. I have the softest coat and am exceptionally soft around my ears, under my neck and then of course my big bushy tail.
I am a picky eater. If I eat something that isn't good for me I get an upset belly. I am house trained, I don't jump on people and I rarely bark (maybe if I am playing with other dogs and we get rowdy). I walk nicely on a leash and I am pretty good in the car. I am trying to get my foster mom to put up more recent photos. Keep checking... woof!

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
