My name is Balto and I was found roaming around in the wild of Northern Colorado with my friend, a Cairn Terrier. Some nice people picked us up and took us to a place called a shelter. At the shelter, they told us they needed to get to know us better, and made us do things like sit, walk on a leash, and eat some food in front of other dogs. My friend did very well and they were happy and said he could find a home, but when I growled over my food bowl, they were sad and said they would have to call ERU.
I am so glad that they did!! Someone very nice from the shelter I was at drove me to meet a sweet lady named Erin. Erin took me to a doggie day care where I am currently staying with lots of new friends for me to play with. ERU keeps tabs on me at day care and has found out that I am just an awesome, awesome little guy. The people at day care said I don't show any food aggression, although since I am a little underweight they can understand why I would be protective of my food at the shelter. I community feed with other dogs and I am never protective or rude. I get along with every dog I meet and I love people, too. The day care people think I'm the perfect little eskie and can't quite figure out how I ended up here! Would you like to welcome me into your home and fatten me up? I would love you forever!! For more information about me please contact Chris at cat7wmn@msn.com. I hope to hear from you soon!
