JUNE 24th: Puff is scheduled for formal adoption tomorrow! Hurray for Puff! Updated June 8th, 2013 Puff was returned to her ERU foster home yesterday as her adoptive family of six months have been up rooted due to difficult times. Puff a.k.a. Buffy is still the sweetheart she always has been. Her family took wonderful care of her and except for needing to lose a few pounds she is in excellent health. Puff likes people of all ages, dogs, cats and rabbits. She does spit up a bit in the car. Her family bought her a pheromone collar and that has helped calm her. Her best con job is making pitiful little sounds when she wants food or attention. There's nothing pitiful about this manipulater of hearts. I do not crate Puff and she has complete run of the house. Background from 2012. PUFF: She came to me with her brother of three years, BUDDY. Puff was well loved and socialized but sad circumstances made her owners make the heart breaking decision to return her to ERU. PUFF is a mini (about 14 inches at the withers.) I can tell you she is a complete love, friendly and wants to be in my lap at ALL times. She's a real girly-girl which means she is a total love but doesn't take any guff from her annoying four legged hostess. (Never mess with a female) These angels can be adopted separately as they are exceptionally friendly, loving Eskies. Puff needs to lose some weight. The extra weight works against her heart and hips but your veterinarian will help you with this. They have been started on a slow, healthy diet and snacks are fresh fruit, simmered chicken or vegetables. Puff loves to be in my lap so be prepared for a flying white missile landing in your lap whether or not you are ready for it These fur kids are a delight and if I was partial to non-neurotic Eskies I would keep them! More pictures will be posted as the little loves slow down for a good shot. Her current pictures do not do her justice - she is much prettier than pictured from 2009.
