Hi my name is Scotty. I came from a shelter in Alabama and was transported to a foster in GA.  I arrived on the day of a birthday party and joined right in.  It was for a 9 year old boy and he had 4 of his friends over.  I hopped up on the couch and snuggled in for pets and loving.  I thought I was to be his birthday present.

Unfortunately things did not work out there and I was taken to the vet to be boarded.  I hopped on a transport north and stopped in NC where I thought I was going to my furever home.  The woman really liked me but one of her friends bought her puppy without telling her and now looks like I missed out on that home too!

I am doing fine at the fosters in NC even though she has lots of dogs.  I have not had any issues there but spend my time hiding out in the crate as I truly like to be the only dog so I get all the hugs, kisses and pets I can handle.  I am willing to share with one other furkid if I have to.

Did I mention I love attention.  Hugs kisses and lots of petting.  Sorry about the pictures but it was while I was at the shelter and had not been cleaned up yet.  I really am a cute fur butt.  As my present foster says a real DOLL BABY

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
