I am about 3 1/2 years old and weigh about 35 lbs. I love other dogs and currently live with 5 other dogs. I am very cautious of new people. We don't know how I would be with cats as there are none around. I do not do well with children so it is best I am not placed in a home with any. I also need an experienced eskie owner.

From the foster mom:

Bailey is a super good boy! He is a 3yr old male (Neutered) DOB 7-17-07. Bailey is very cautious of strangers given the chance to bite he will. He needs to be introduced very slowly to them. He is a one owner dog. Excellent to walk.

Bailey is excellent with other dogs. Bailey is house trained. He loves the outside, especially the snow! He will stay out for hours (you need to go get him in!) He is very affectionate with his owner. Loves hugs, belly rubs, & loves to cuddle.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
