*** I am located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania ****
UPDATE: 3/13/08 I had Zaydee out of prison yesterday for a dental appointment. She now has pearly whites again. The staff at the vets could not believe she was still available for adoption. They love her and said she is the friendliest eskie they have ever seen. A women who had just adopted another breed of dog, said "gee, I wish I would have seen her, before I adopted." Zaydee has come a long way since entering the program. She gets along with all the other dogs in the program. If placed in a home with other dogs you just got to go slow then she is fine with them. She is learning to play with other dogs. Something she has never done before. Zaydee is one of the better dogs I have fostered. I have fostered well over 125 dogs in 3 years. She is near the top. Don't let this special girl slip away. Actually if someone does not soon adopt her. I might have to adopt her myself she is such a sweet girl. She is an eskie that would be fine with the grandkids, neighbors. She loves everyone. She came from a home with 5 young kids so she is used to children. If I had to pick a negative thing about her it would be that she is too loving. She has to be with you all the time. ****updated 1/29/08 ******* Well I am heading to prison. Why you ask? I am going into a program called the H.O.P.E. (hounds of prison Education) http://hopedogs.org/ I will learn to be the best dog possible while in the program. It is an intense obedience program. If you go to the HOPE website you can follow my progress. My name is Zaydee, I am about 6 years old. I am a super dog with everyone. I love everyone, humane. Ok so I dont like other dogs. That is because I want all your attention to myself. I was turned into Lancaster County SPCA. They could not adopt me out and were going to euthanize me because I would not do the food test. Let me explain.... It is not that I was food aggressive it was that I would not take the test. When they tried to test me, I was too excited to be with people and would not eat. So because they could not test me. They could not adopt me out. I even like kids. Now how many eskies can say that? I came from a home with 5 children, prior to being turned into the SPCA. They gave me up because they said they did not have time for me. I was kept outdoors so I do need to know some house manners. With some help and guidance I will make someone a wonderful girl. You can see how friendly I am in this video. If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact justus4250@aol.com or gina@eskierescuers.org.
