Happy New Year!

I'm so happy to have been given a new chance at life in 2011! I was found by local animal control wandering the streets a few months after having given birth to a litter. It took them a while to convince me to come along, but that nice warm bowl of food did the trick!

ERU came to the rescue and picked me up a few days. ago. While I can't tell them much about my history, I've been on my best behavior so far in hopes of finding a great "FURever home." I'm young, spayed, UTD on shots. I know basic commands like Sit and Shake (I'm pretty good with Down, too!) I walk well on leash, seem to be housetrained, and am good with other dogs and kids. I'm okay with cats, but I do think they are kind of fun to chase in a playful way.

I'm an Eskie mix, so my coat has some biscuit in it, but that doesn't make me any less of a great example of the Eskie breed. I hope you might consider making me a part of your family!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
