Update: Scout has been moved to a new foster home. He will stay in ERU's care for the near future so we can monitor his neurological issues. He may also require luxating patella surgery in the future. Scout is an amazingly sweet eskie boy. Scout came to us through the Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) in MD. Scout's head bobbles (see video) and we have had a neurologist and other specialist examine him. He has had the bobble since MCHS found him as a stray in November of 2013. The bobble has not gotten any worse. The docs are stumped as to what is causing the bobble. Tick disease has been ruled out. We may never know what is causing the bobble but Scout is one of the sweetest eskie boys I have ever fostered. He is so good with strangers. If you're willing to provide a safe and loving forever or foster home for Scout please let me know (Heidi@eskierescuers.org).
