Shamoo is very young minature American Eskimo Dog with a dash of something else which is why his ears to do not stand up. With the exception of his floppy ears along with a few speckles on his face, he would look as close as they come to a full-blooded American Eskimo Dog. Shamoo is a very sweet dog with a WINNING personality. Given the chance, he'll steal your heart. His new owner needs to invest the time in training and obedience. He is a quick learner and is doing very well with house training and is learning not to "jump on the humans". Like most American Eskimo Dogs, Shamoo loves to run and therefore, will need a home with a fenced in yard. Are you looking for a loving, attentive companion who is also a good watch dog? Are you experienced with the American Eskimo breed? If so, Shamoo may be just the dog you are looking for! Approximately 1 YO neutered male UTD on all vaccinations HW free Mostly Housebroken [no mistakes yet] Best with experienced dog owner in adult environment with no small children Fenced yard required [no exceptions please] Gets along fabulously with other dogs Seems to be OK with cats Serious Inquiries only please. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
