Hello my name is Felix and I am about 11 years old and currently looking for a new home. I am not exactly sure why but thats okay I know someone out there is looking for a loving, personable, friendly, life of the party,  laid back and funny companion. Yes I am bragging a little but hey I have to tell you all the good things about me. So I am going to keep bragging, I love to ride in the car and take walks and just be with my human. I also love love love the belly rubs so please feel free to rub me all day long. I get along with most dogs but would really like to be the only dog so that I can have all the attention but if you already have one I think I can share but I will not share my toys or treats. I however do not do all that good with cats. If they run I will chase them otherwise I will ignore them but it really is best if you have no cats and I am good with older kids so no little ones for me please. 

Okay so know for some of the not so good things.  I howl when left alone but I do settle down and will wait patiently for you to return. I can also jump a baby gate as I have springs in my legs and I just found out  that I am almost completely Deaf, I can hear very loud and very high pitched sounds but thats it but I don't let that slow me down but just think of this. If I can't hear things then I probably won't bark as much.  

I am a pleasure to have around and I know I will be missed by my foster family but I would like to have my own home that I will be the center of attention during my senior years. If you are over 60 and you wish to adopt me you qualify for the SENIOR to SENIOR program, dosen't that sound great.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
