Bandit was found on a city street by a good samaritan who turned him over to animal control. He was left to fend for himself even though he is blind. His story quickly spread and he found his way into our rescue and into the hearts of many. He has been updated on shots, heartworm prev and frontline. Bandit is a very sweet gentle boy. His not being able to see has not stopped him in the least. It didn't take him very long to be come familiar with his surroundings and learn his way around the house. He is good with children but due to his site I suggest older children. He loves his walks and days out with his foster family. He would make a great addition to any family. If you love a dog that follows you around and loves to cuddle Bandit is the boy for you. for more information please contact Brenda at bfulmer@aol.com More about Bandit of PAGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Special Needs: Bandit will need to have eye drops put in once a day and a cream twice a day for an extended period of time. This has helped him already with being able to see at least some shadows. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. Other Pictures of Bandit of PA (click to see larger version):
