Hello,My name is Scooter! I am a standard sized American Eskimo boy who needs to find my new forever home! I am sweet, very friendly, gentle and loving! I am current on all of my vaccinations, neutered, and heart worm negative! I am on flea, tick, and heart worm preventive! I weigh about 28 pounds.And am about 4 years old. I like to go for long walks and I am great on a leash! I like to go for car rides too! I adore children, but I'm not so good with smaller dogs or other ALPHA male dogs in the home! I am great with male dogs just not ones that have a strong personality! I am a bit shy of men at first but I warm up quickly! We don't know about cats cuz my foster mommy doesn't have any! I am house broken and will let you know when I need to go outside to go potty! I am real good about this! Wouldn't you love to have me in your home and give me a chance at a wonderful life? I know I'm waiting for my new forever family - will that be you? As you can see I'm really quite a handsome guy!!! If you're interested in me, we can do what's called an "Eskie Railroad" if I'm not local to you! I am in Bossier, LA with my foster mommy! This is a group of volunteer drivers who will each drive a certain distance to get me to you!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
